Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit
 I’ve been using this for maybe 3-4 weeks and I love it!

I have a moderate amount of acne. Mainly on my cheeks. So at a first impression, I noticed that these products contain salicylic acid which helps kill acne. But then I saw that it also contained benzoyl peroxide. I was pretty scared to try it since benzoyl peroxide is known to dry out skin. But hey, I have combination skin so how worst could my skin get?

I use the cleanser twice everyday (in the morning and before I go to sleep). Within a week of using this, I noticed that it reduced redness and blemish size. This is my favorite item in the kit.

Eh. To be honest, I’ve used better moisturizers. What I don’t like about this product, is that if you use too much of this, it does make your face look greasy and it takes awhile for it to absorb into your skin. This is because the cleanser and spot treatment has benzoyl peroxide in it, so the moisturizer helps the skin from over-drying. But even without using the moisturizer in this kit, my skin’s never experienced dryness (maybe that’s because I have combination skin, but you know- everyone’s skin is different).

I like the spot treatment, this was like the “final step” to getting rid of my acne. Though I hate that this stings your face, it does help getting rid of acne. I put the spot treatment on my affected areas before I go to sleep, so when I wake up, I can just wash it off + wash my face normally.

END RESULT: I only use the cleanser daily and the spot treatment when I get breakouts. This Clean & Clear kit actually got rid of my acne (which I am extremely grateful and happy for that) BUT, I was left with acne scars- dark spots, a.k.a. microdermabrasion.
So what I’m currently doing to get rid of these acne scars is exfoliating once every week, fresh lemon juice, egg whites, and olive oil.
